The art of the Table. Naturalia, Bacon

The “Bacon” tablecloth is an evident tribute to the Irish painter Francis Bacon (Dublin, October 28, 1909 – Madrid, April 28, 1992).
His personal idea of painting and the transfiguration of faces of various natures is here directed to flowers, the main topic of Naturalia’s investigation.

The Gerberas, the color of dust, cross the table top by overlapping in their transparencies, emphasising a sense of impermanent beauty, typical of flowers’ life.

Such is the memory with which the sensibilities of gentle lovers like to mantle themselves, in an embrace that is already a goodbye, at nightfall, waiting for a new sunrise.
